Bookmaking Experiment: T-Cut Book

I woke up this morning and decided to try and make a new kind of book (I’m relatively new to bookmaking). I’ve been using my daughter’s weekly spelling words to make these books, for no other reason that it preserves the words and makes going over them more fun.

In flipping through the relatively easy options, I settled on the T-Cut.

T-Cut books have middle flaps that open. In this epic, the front of the flaps are covered with Dr. Doom’s face, and they open into the view of a moon he is imagining…well…Dooming. Only The Thing stands in the way! The white cover is simply a wrap that folds around the book and keeps it closed.

Behold, the T-Cut!
